Frequently asked questions about home services

Search for the service you need in the app, enter the location and compare available offers. Check the description, price, reviews and availability before sending a booking request to the professional.

Use your location or the address where you need the service. For in-person services, check that the professional travels to that area; for online services, distance does not determine where the work takes place.

Search using the location where you need help. Results depend on published services, travel radius and each professional’s availability. Check offers in the app before planning a booking.

Compare the scope of work, pricing method, location, availability and reviews. Check what each offer includes and use pre-booking questions, when enabled by the professional, to clarify details.

No. Wisdom supports in-person and online services. Check each offer’s format and location to see whether the professional travels to you, you attend a specific place, or the work is done remotely.

Search for home cleaning in Wisdom and use the location where you need the service. Compare available offers and read the description to check which cleaning tasks each professional includes.

Check how the professional has set up the cleaning offer: price and duration depend on each service. If it is charged by the hour, review the rate and duration before requesting a booking.

There is no single rate for all professionals. Check the offer’s price, duration and the breakdown shown when booking. Compare services with equivalent tasks and conditions to assess the cost.

Each professional defines the included tasks in their offer. Check whether it covers the areas and tasks you need, such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors or windows, and clarify any special work before booking.

Read the service description; offers do not all include the same things. If it is unclear who provides products or equipment, ask the professional when pre-booking questions are enabled.

Wisdom supports recurring bookings for services that allow them. Check whether the cleaning offer supports scheduled sessions and review the frequency, times and booking conditions.

Describe the areas to clean, priority tasks and any relevant conditions at the property. Provide the location, date and duration when required so the professional can assess the request.

Search for the trade or specific task and compare available services in your area. Read the description and explain the work when requesting a booking; conditions and availability depend on each offer.

Wisdom includes gardening and painting categories. Search for the task and location, review available profiles and check the scope of work and the professional’s conditions.

Search for the subject you want to learn, such as languages, mathematics, music or programming. Compare offers and check whether lessons are in person or online, their duration and available times.

You can explore categories such as personal training, yoga and massage. Read each service’s description and format and check the experience and conditions published by the professional.

Search for pet care or dog walking and review services near the required location. Explain the animal’s needs and check the times and scope of the service before booking.

Wisdom’s download page includes links to the App Store and Google Play. In the app you can search for services, compare professionals and manage bookings.

Use professional mode to publish your services, describe the work you offer and configure prices and availability. The same account lets you manage clients and booking requests.

Sending a request does not mean the appointment has been accepted. Check the status in the booking details: confirmation depends on the professional accepting the request.

Wisdom is a platform to find, compare, book and pay for services. It also allows any user to offer their own services and manage clients, reservations and payments from the same account.

Yes. You don't need to create two accounts. You can use client mode to contract services and switch to professional mode when you want to offer yours.

You can explore part of the application without registering, but you will need an account to book, send messages, save favorites, make payments, or publish services.

Wisdom is designed for all types of services: home, education, well-being, technology, design, pets, events, renovations, advice and many more, both in person and online.

The Provider identified in the offer and reservation contracts directly with you, performs the work and is responsible for its obligations. Wisdom facilitates search, booking, payment, documents and support as an intermediary; does not execute or resell that work.

A verification only confirms the specific check indicated, for example identity or payment requirements. It does not certify tax registration, licenses, insurance or service quality. The Premium badge identifies a subscription, not professional verification.

You can search directly for what you need or explore Wisdom families and categories. You can then filter and compare services based on factors such as price, location, rating, experience or availability.

The location allows you to show services that can really serve you and calculate the distance with in-person professionals. Online services can be found regardless of your location.

The address is used when it is necessary to provide the service. Wisdom limits public location information and does not unnecessarily display exact addresses in profiles or results.

Wisdom can alert the professional if the address is outside its usual radius. If it is too far away – equal to or greater than twice your configured radius – the reservation cannot be made.

Yes, if the professional has enabled previous questions. Before booking, the conversation may be limited to a maximum of messages to resolve specific questions.

Wisdom attempts to keep hiring and communication within the platform to preserve history, payments, and support tools. This is why certain contact details may be blocked before confirming a reservation.

Wisdom is designed so that hiring is done within the platform. If you move the operation abroad, Wisdom may not have the necessary information to offer its payment, tracking, documentation or support mechanisms.

Some professionals allow you to book a short consultation before or independently of the main service. It can be in person, by call or video call and free or paid as configured by the professional.

The client selects the necessary data, reviews the price and pays the deposit. The professional receives a request and can accept or reject it. Once accepted, both parties can follow and manage the entire service from Wisdom.

Not necessarily. When making a reservation you may first be sending a request. The reservation is confirmed when the professional accepts it.

It depends on how much is left for the service. Wisdom shows the time available in the reservation itself. If the application expires without being accepted, it is canceled and the deposit is returned.

If the reservation does not have a start date and time, the request normally expires after 24 hours.

The reservation is canceled and you receive a full refund of the deposit.

In certain services yes. The date, time or duration may be optional depending on the type of service. Recurring reservations, on the other hand, require specific programming.

Yes, when the type of service allows it. In that case the price or availability may need to be finalized later.

A reservation may be requested, accepted, in progress, pending approval, completed, canceled, rejected, expired or in dispute. The reservation detail will always tell you what is happening and if you need to take any action.

Accepting a reservation does not mean starting work. The professional must mark “Start service” when it actually starts and Wisdom registers that moment as the start.

When the work is finished, the professional indicates this from the reservation and confirms the final amount when applicable. The customer can review the result and complete the payment.

You can modify its description. To change other details of a pending request, you will normally have to cancel it and rebook with the new details.

Yes. A modification proposal is sent to the other party. The change only applies when both parties agree.

You can accept it, reject it or make a counterproposal. Until there is an agreement, the previous booking conditions remain valid.

The proposal may expire when the original service time arrives, the new proposed time arrives, or the reservation advances to another state. If it expires, the reservation maintains its previous conditions.

Normally you pay a deposit first and, when the service ends, the remaining amount. The price may include the corresponding professional settlement and the Wisdom Service Fee.

It is the price of Wisdom's intermediation and tools: payment management, support, traceability and own documentation. It is not insurance or a guarantee of the Provider's work.

It is currently calculated as 10% of the professional's settlement + €0.50, with a minimum of €1.

The fee is paid by the Client and corresponds to Wisdom. The amount of the work corresponds to the Provider. Stripe processes separate payments and transfers; Wisdom may temporarily hold a transfer pending and handle adjustments or returns in accordance with its policies, without becoming a provider of the work.

It is the amount paid when requesting a reservation to confirm the commitment. It is not an additional cost: it normally represents all or part of the Service Fee and is taken into account within the total price.

No. It depends on the type of price and the reservation estimate. For services where the price cannot yet be known, the deposit may be €1.

The price of the work is known from the beginning. The deposit is paid when booking and the remaining amount when the service ends.

When booking, the expected duration is used to make an estimate. Upon completion, the final price is calculated using the actual duration of the service.

If it ultimately lasts longer or shorter than expected, Wisdom adjusts the final payment.

The final price is not known when booking. A deposit of €1 is initially paid and, when the service ends, the professional proposes its final settlement for the client to review.

Yes, especially in hourly or budget services. Wisdom shows the client the final amount before closing when approval is required.

Normally you have 48 hours. If the amount is equal to, less than, or a maximum of 20% more than the initial estimate and the other conditions are met, Wisdom can collect automatically.

If the increase exceeds 20%, there was no comparable estimate or one of the expected exceptions occurs, your intervention will be necessary and, if it is not resolved, the reservation may be disputed.

No. For reservations paid via Apple Pay, subsequent payments that require authorization will need to be confirmed again.

Yes, where necessary you can use another available payment method.

Payments are processed through specialized providers such as Stripe. Wisdom uses secure tokenization mechanisms and does not need to directly store all the complete card data.

Services are charged in their original currency. If Wisdom shows a conversion to your currency, it is indicative and the final amount may vary due to the exchange rate or the conditions of your bank.

Wisdom will ask you to resolve the problem or use another payment method. A failed attempt does not mean that a legitimate outstanding amount disappears.

Yes. Refund depends on who cancels and how long it takes to start service.

Wisdom calculates a period equivalent to 33% of the time between the creation of the reservation and its start, with a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 24 hours.

Reservations without a start time do not have a last minute period.

The deposit is fully returned.

The deposit is not returned.

The customer receives the full refund. If the cancellation is at the last minute or after the scheduled time, Wisdom may register an incident in the professional account.

The other party may communicate a default. If confirmed, the reservation is canceled and the customer may lose the deposit.

If confirmed, the client receives a full refund and Wisdom can register an incident in the professional's account.

You can report it or open a dispute. Wisdom reviews relevant evidence, listens to the parties and can facilitate agreements and manage the reservation or its payments. The Provider remains responsible for the work and any damages attributable to it.

Reporting a problem allows you to record an incident. A dispute stops the normal flow of the reservation and requires the situation to be resolved before continuing.

Wisdom may take justified operational measures concerning the booking and payments, such as postponing a transfer or processing a full or partial refund. It does not act as an arbitrator or offer damage insurance. You can request a review from support and retain your rights to bring a claim against the appropriate party.

Whoever opened it can withdraw it and the reservation returns to its original state. A closure or refund does not in itself waive legal rights. Ordinary financial assistance refers to the amounts in the reserve; Any extraordinary business assistance requires an express grant from Wisdom and does not create blanket coverage.

Wisdom can send reminders after the scheduled start. If an accepted reservation remains abandoned for 7 days without activity, it can be automatically canceled, the deposit refunded to the client and an incident registered with the professional.

It allows you to schedule the same service periodically, for example every week or every two weeks, without having to manually book each session.

It can currently be configured every 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks and on one or more days of the week.

No. Wisdom generates sessions progressively. Normally a new session is created 72 hours before its start.

No. Each session has its own deposit and its own payment.

Wisdom may skip certain sessions that conflict with other bookings. A session that cannot be generated is not charged.

Yes. A specific session can be managed independently without necessarily modifying the entire series.

Certain changes may be proposed for future sessions. Sessions that have already been generated must be managed individually where appropriate.

Yes. A manual pause must be requested in advance and requires the acceptance of the other party. Upcoming confirmed reservations may have to be managed individually.

Yes. Terminating it prevents new sessions from being created, but does not automatically cancel reservations that have already been generated.

Wisdom makes the intended attempts and allows you to correct the payment method. If you cannot be charged before the set limit, that session can be skipped without automatically canceling the entire series.

Repeated failures in different sessions can temporarily pause the recurrence.

Switch to professional mode and create your first service. You can configure what you offer, category, description, location, images, experience, price and conditions.

No. Both modes are part of the same account and you can switch between them whenever you want.

The free plan allows you to keep up to 2 active services. Wisdom Premium allows up to 10.

Yes. From your Services section you can manage and update published services.

Yes. Hiding it prevents it from continuing to appear publicly without deleting all your information.

Existing reservations remain valid.

Yes, as long as there are no reservations or active series that prevent doing so. Wisdom may demand that outstanding commitments be resolved first.

Wisdom takes into account your existing reservations, their durations and the margins between services to try to avoid overlaps.

Recurring reservations can also block future availability based on your pattern.

Reservations with a defined time and duration can block 30 minutes before and after. This margin allows for travel, preparation, possible delays and time between services.

No. A request is not an obligation until you accept it. You can accept or reject it according to your availability.

Wisdom may require that you have a payment method set up and complete necessary verifications. These checks allow you to process payments securely and comply with applicable obligations.

Payment providers may need to verify identity and certain details before allowing you to receive money. The documents used for this verification are not publicly displayed.

When you actually start, press “Start Service”. When finished, use the end option and confirm the corresponding duration or price depending on the type of service.

In the standard system, eligible settlements are processed on the first Wednesday after at least 7 days have passed since collection from the customer. Once the transfer is sent, it may take approximately 1–2 additional business days for the bank.

The calendar allows you to manage incidents and can be suspended for amounts affected by disputes, fraud, chargebacks or legal requirements. Justified withholdings will be reviewed. Wisdom does not guarantee the collection of amounts that have not been received or whose return is appropriate.

Eligible Premium Professionals may have faster release conditions when they meet applicable requirements. The specific conditions are shown in the Wisdom Premium Policy.

Allows you to indicate a period in which you will not be able to attend certain services. In recurring reservations you can prevent new sessions from being generated during that period.

Reservations that are already confirmed may require cancellation or individual management.

The Service Provider issues the invoice using their own means when legally required and may upload it to the booking. Wisdom does not generate or correct invoices on their behalf; it only issues documentation for its own charges. If the invoice for the work is missing, you must request it from the Service Provider.

No. Wisdom acts as an intermediary and provides the platform, while the contracted work is carried out by the corresponding professional.

No. Each professional is responsible for determining their fiscal and administrative obligations according to their situation and country.

Wisdom may request certain information necessary for payments or legal compliance, but using the platform is not a substitute for tax advice.

It is the status declared by the Service Provider when setting up their payout method. Wisdom does not audit their tax situation. Individual does not mean exemption from taxes or invoices; Self-Employed / Company is not an accreditation by Wisdom. The term “professional” in the app describes the role of someone offering a service.

If the Service Provider does not in fact act as a trader or professional, consumer protection legislation does not apply to the contract for the work. The declaration must be shown before booking. It does not affect your rights against Wisdom for the platform service or remove those arising from the Service Provider’s actual status. The person making a false selection is responsible for it.

The reservation includes the receipt or informative summary, Wisdom's own invoices and the invoice provided by the Provider, if it exists. The receipt does not replace a mandatory invoice. If the tax label is incorrect, the Lender must correct it and deliver the required documentation.

Wisdom may provide the details strictly necessary where there is a legal basis and a connection with a specific claim. It does not automatically disclose identity documents, bank details or the entire chat; the limits in the Privacy Policy apply.

After successfully completing a reservation and making final payment. Each completed reservation allows for an independent assessment.

Yes, if you have made several different reservations with it. Each service completed can generate its own rating.

Not simply because it is negative. Wisdom may moderate content that violates the rules, is fraudulent, offensive or does not correspond to a real experience.

You can use the reporting options available on the platform or contact support.

Maintaining the reservation, communication and payment within the platform allows you to maintain traceability and use the support, dispute, refund and documentation mechanisms available in Wisdom.

The ordinary Service Fee is eliminated and only a minimum deposit of €1 per reservation is maintained.

Yes. If the client or professional has Premium when the booking conditions are set, the benefit applies.

It may include visibility, a badge, statistics, priority support, up to 10 active services and faster payouts where eligible. It does not certify the Service Provider, guarantee income or include a Service guarantee, damage coverage or a favorable resolution of disputes.

No. Premium may improve visibility or positioning, but does not guarantee a specific position or a certain number of bookings.

Canceling deactivates automatic renewal, but you maintain Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If you have more than the 2 services allowed on the free plan, they will not be deleted. Some will be hidden until you reduce the number of active services or return to Premium.

Not retroactively. The economic conditions that have already been set for a reservation are maintained.
