Booking Policy
At Wisdom, we want clients and professionals to know at all times what happens from the moment a service is requested until it is completed.
This Booking Policy explains how requests, deposits, acceptance, availability, modifications, payments, completion, cancellations, incidents, disputes, and recurring bookings made through Wisdom work.
By making or accepting a booking, the parties accept the applicable conditions displayed on the platform and the rules set out in this Policy, together with the Terms and Conditions, Cancellation Policy, and any other applicable Wisdom policies.
Wisdom intermediates between the Client and the Provider identified in the offer and the reservation. The Service contract and its execution correspond to those two parties; Wisdom provides only its own platform services, payment management through specialized providers, communication, own documentation and support. The management of collections, transfers, withholdings or disputes does not imply that Wisdom executes or guarantees the work.
1. How a booking works
A booking on Wisdom allows a client to request a service offered by a professional.
Depending on the service, the client may provide information such as:
Start date and time.
Estimated duration.
Address.
Description or instructions.
Frequency, in the case of a recurring booking.
Other information necessary to correctly provide the service.
Not all of these fields are mandatory for every booking.
A service may be booked without a date, without a duration or, in certain cases, without an address. However, some information will be mandatory where required by the characteristics of the service.
For example, if the professional travels to the client, a valid address must be provided. If the service is provided exclusively online, a physical address will not be necessary.
The reservation information must allow the Provider to evaluate and execute the request. Before contracting, your identity and the condition in which you declare to act will be shown: Individual or Self-Employed / Company. It is a statement not fiscally audited by Wisdom. If you actually act as an individual and not as a businessman, the consumer protection regulations do not apply to the Service contract, without affecting the Client's rights against Wisdom through the platform or the rights derived from the real condition of the Provider.
2. Location and service radius
Professionals may define an area within which they are willing to travel.
When a service requires travel, the client must provide a valid address for the booking.
If the address is outside the professional’s usual service radius, Wisdom may notify the professional so that they can decide whether they want to accept the request.
If the distance reaches or exceeds twice the service radius configured by the professional, Wisdom will not allow the booking to be made.
For services with a fixed professional location, the service’s own location will initially be used as a reference. Where the nature of the service allows it, another location may be specified.
For online services or services without a physical location, entering an address will not be necessary.
The exact locations of professionals who work within a service radius are not shown publicly unless necessary to provide the service.
3. Date, time, and duration
When a date and time are specified, they must be in the future and respect the minimum advance notice established by the professional for that service.
Depending on the service, the professional may allow urgent bookings or require a minimum notice period, such as 2 hours, 24 hours, 48 hours, or one week.
When the client specifies both a start time and a duration, Wisdom will automatically calculate an estimated end time.
The time indicated when booking is the expected time. The start registration in the app is used to manage the reservation and does not certify by Wisdom that the work has materially begun, its effective duration or its quality; Both parties must communicate any discrepancies.
4. Professional availability
Wisdom uses an availability system to prevent a professional from receiving bookings that are incompatible with each other.
While no more specific schedule configuration exists for a particular professional, Wisdom may use general availability from 08:00 to 22:00, Monday to Sunday, according to the professional’s local time.
This does not mean that a professional is required to accept every request within those hours. The professional retains the ability to reject a request if they cannot accommodate it.
Available times are generally displayed in 30-minute intervals.
For a booking with a defined time and duration to be considered available, it must be able to start and finish within the permitted schedule and must not overlap with another booking that already blocks the professional’s calendar.
Requested, accepted, in-progress, pending approval, or disputed bookings may block availability while there is still a possibility that they will require the professional’s time.
Rejected, cancelled, expired, or completed bookings no longer block the calendar.
When a booking has no defined duration, Wisdom cannot always determine precisely how much time it will occupy, so the professional must assess possible overlaps before accepting it.
5. Buffer between bookings
To reduce delays and allow for travel, preparation, or possible unforeseen events, Wisdom normally applies a 30-minute buffer before and 30 minutes after bookings that have a defined start and end time.
This time is not charged to the client and does not form part of the booked duration.
Its purpose is solely to prevent the professional from accumulating services with excessively tight schedules.
This buffer may also apply to online services, as it allows one session to be properly closed and the next one prepared.
6. Service price
Wisdom supports different ways of setting a price.
The total price of a booking may consist of:
The professional’s payout amount, corresponding to the amount for their work.
Wisdom’s Service Fee.
Unless a different condition is expressly indicated, the Service Fee is calculated as:
max. (€1, 10% of the professional’s payout amount + €0.50).
This means that the fee will never be less than €1.
Where a Premium benefit applies that removes the standard fee, the applicable minimum amount will apply in accordance with the Wisdom Premium conditions.
Before confirming a transaction, Wisdom will show the price or, when it cannot yet be determined, its calculation method and the applicable costs, distinguishing the Provider's amount from the Service Fee.
7. Rounding of amounts
The professional’s payout amount is calculated and rounded to the nearest cent.
The corresponding Service Fee is calculated on that payout amount.
Where necessary to maintain consistent presentation and calculation, the Service Fee may be rounded to the nearest €0.10 increment.
The total price results from adding both amounts and is expressed in cents.
Outstanding amounts, refunds, and adjustments are calculated using the amounts already determined for the booking, avoiding successive rounding that could unjustifiably alter the price.
8. Fixed-price services
For a fixed-price service, the client knows the professional’s payout amount in advance.
When the request is made, the booking deposit is charged, initially covering the corresponding Service Fee.
When the service is completed and the client confirms that it was correctly performed, the remaining amount corresponding to the professional is charged.
Before this final payment, the client will be able to review the transaction breakdown.
9. Hourly services
For services charged by the hour, the final price depends on the actual duration of the work.
If the client indicates an estimated duration when booking, Wisdom calculates the deposit using the estimated transaction amount.
If no duration is indicated, the applicable minimum deposit may be charged.
The duration entered when booking is an estimate and does not necessarily determine the final cost.
At the end, the professional must indicate the actual duration of the service.
The final payout amount will be calculated using that duration and the applicable hourly rate.
If the service lasted less than expected, the amount already paid will be taken into account when calculating what the client still has to pay and, where applicable, the necessary adjustment will be made.
If it lasted longer, the final payment will include the payout amount corresponding to the actual time worked and any outstanding difference in the Service Fee.
For certain low-priced hourly services, Wisdom may adjust the displayed price so that the estimate shown is easier to understand. In all cases, the final price is calculated based on the actual transaction and not simply by multiplying an indicative displayed rate.
10. Services with a price to be agreed or subject to a quote
Some services cannot have an exact price before the required work is known.
In these cases, the service appears as price to be agreed or subject to a quote.
A minimum deposit of €1 is charged when requesting it.
When the service is completed, the professional enters the final payout amount.
The client can review the amount before approving it.
The total price will be the professional’s payout amount plus the applicable Service Fee, less any amount already paid.
Services subject to a quote are subject to the special final approval rules set out below.
11. The deposit
Wisdom uses a deposit system to confirm genuine booking intent and protect the process for both parties.
The deposit amount is shown before confirming the request.
Depending on the type of service, the deposit may correspond to all or part of the Service Fee.
For services subject to a quote, it will normally be €1.
The deposit is charged using the payment method selected by the client.
If the booking is not accepted or a refund is due under this Policy or the Cancellation Policy, Wisdom will process the applicable refund.
12. Payment method
Payments are mainly processed through Stripe with separate charges and transfers: the Client is charged and, in accordance with the settlement rules, the corresponding amount is transferred to the Provider, with Wisdom retaining its Service Fee. This operation facilitates payment and incident management, without transforming the Provider Service into a Wisdom service.
The client may use the methods available on their device, in their country, and for the booking.
When a card is used, the payment provider may securely retain an identifier for that method so that the same booking can later be completed.
By default, Wisdom may use the method used for the deposit to process the final payment.
The client may change the method used for the final payment where the functionality is available or where the original method cannot be used.
Refunds corresponding to the deposit are normally made to the same method used for the original payment.
13. Saving the payment method
When the client uses a card, they may decide, where applicable, whether they want to save it for future transactions.
If they do not save it, the payment provider may temporarily retain the authorization necessary to complete that booking and subsequently delete the method according to the payment service conditions.
Different rules apply to recurring bookings, since it is necessary to maintain a valid method for future deposits and payments.
14. Currency
Each service has an original currency.
Although Wisdom may show the user an approximate conversion into the currency configured in their account, the charge is made in the service’s original currency.
Therefore, the amount ultimately charged by the client’s bank may vary slightly from the converted value displayed in the application due to the exchange rate or fees charged by their financial institution.
The original currency used by Wisdom will be shown before confirming the payment.
15. Sending a request
Making a booking does not mean that the professional has automatically accepted it.
When the client completes the request and pays the deposit, the booking remains pending the professional’s response.
Wisdom shows the client the approximate period within which the professional has to respond.
If the professional accepts, the booking is confirmed.
If they reject it or allow it to expire, the deposit is refunded to the client in accordance with the corresponding rules.
16. Professional requirements for accepting
Before accepting a booking, the professional must meet the requirements necessary to operate on Wisdom.
Before accepting, the Provider must have the email verified, a valid payment method and the identity or account verifications required by the provider or applicable regulations. Additionally, you declare your condition when setting up the charge. Tax selection is self-declared; A KYC check or payment authorization does not certify self-employment registration, qualifications, insurance or general legality of the activity.
If these requirements are incomplete, Wisdom may temporarily prevent acceptance until they are resolved.
17. Time available to accept a request
When a booking has a start date and time, the acceptance period is calculated using the time available between the creation of the request and the scheduled start.
As a general rule, the booking expires when approximately the final 33% of that period remains.
For example, the closer the service date is, the less time the professional will have to leave a request unanswered.
If there is less than one hour between the request and the start, this rule is replaced and the request may remain active until the scheduled start time.
When there is no start date or time, a request may expire 24 hours after it was made if it has not been accepted.
If a booking expires, the client receives the corresponding refund.
Wisdom may offer a “Try again” option, which creates a new request using the previous information. Any dates and times that have become outdated must be selected again.
18. Accepting a booking does not mean starting the service
When the professional accepts a request, the booking is confirmed, but the service is not yet considered started.
The professional must use the “Start service” option when the work actually begins.
That moment is recorded as the actual start of the service.
This distinction is particularly important for hourly work, as the actual duration may affect the final price.
19. Modifying a booking pending acceptance
When a request has not yet been accepted, it normally cannot be modified.
The description may be updated where Wisdom allows it.
To change key elements such as date, time, duration, or address, the client must cancel the request and make it again with the correct conditions.
If the cancellation occurs while the request is still pending acceptance, the deposit will be refunded according to the applicable rules.
20. Modifying an accepted or in-progress booking
When a booking has already been accepted or the service has started, significant changes require the agreement of both parties.
When a modification is proposed, Wisdom creates a change request.
Until it is accepted, the previous conditions remain valid.
The other party may:
Accept the proposal.
Reject it.
Propose different conditions.
When a counterproposal is made, it replaces the previous proposal.
The process may be repeated as many times as necessary until an agreement is reached or the modification is rejected.
Only one active change negotiation may exist for the same booking, except in certain situations relating to an individual booking that forms part of a recurring series.
21. Withdrawing a modification proposal
The person who initiated a change request may withdraw it while the other party has not yet made a counterproposal.
Once a counterproposal exists, the negotiation can no longer be unilaterally cancelled.
From that point, the parties may accept, reject, or make further proposals.
If a proposal is rejected, the negotiation ends and the original booking conditions remain in force.
22. Expiry of a change proposal
A modification proposal may automatically expire when it no longer makes sense.
This may occur, among other cases:
When the original start time is reached.
When the newly proposed time is reached.
When the booking advances to a stage that is incompatible with the pending change.
If a proposal expires, the conditions in force before the change request remain in place.
23. Rules applicable to changes
Changes to date, duration, or address must comply with the same general rules as a new booking.
For example, an address must fall within the permitted limits and a date cannot be in the past.
However, the minimum advance notice originally configured by the professional may be relaxed when both parties are modifying an existing booking.
When a modification is approved, dependent elements such as estimated price, schedules, availability, or cancellation conditions will be recalculated.
If a booking was already in progress and both parties move its start to a future date, it will return to accepted status and must be started again when that time arrives.
24. Starting the service
The professional is responsible for indicating in Wisdom when the service actually begins.
The actual start time becomes the time at which they use the “Start service” function.
The scheduled start date does not automatically start a booking.
If the scheduled time is reached and neither party takes any action, the service is not automatically considered started.
25. Completing the service
The scheduled end time also does not automatically complete a booking.
When the professional considers that the work has been completed, they must use the “Have you finished the service?” option.
Wisdom will request confirmation to avoid accidental closures.
The necessary financial information must then be entered or verified.
For hourly services, the professional will enter the final duration.
Wisdom may initially display an estimate based on elapsed time, but the professional must verify that it is correct.
For services subject to a quote, the professional must enter the final payout amount.
For fixed-price services, the previously agreed amount must be confirmed.
Once this proposal is submitted, the client may review the completion.
26. Returning to work
If the professional identifies an error after proposing completion or needs to continue the service, they may use the option designed to cancel the proposal and return to work.
The booking will return to the corresponding previous status.
When the service is finally completed, the professional must complete the completion process again and send a new proposal to the client.
27. Zero charges
In certain situations, the professional may complete a booking without claiming any payment for their work.
When “Zero charges” is selected or the final payout amount is €0, the professional receives no payment for the service.
The booking is completed and the client is refunded the deposit paid, except for €1, which remains as the minimum transaction amount.
The corresponding documents for this adjustment will be issued in accordance with the Invoicing and Tax Policy.
28. Client review of the final amount
After the professional completes the service, the client receives a breakdown showing:
The total amount.
The deposit already paid.
The outstanding amount.
The client must review this information and, if they agree, use “Accept and pay”.
If the final collection is completed, the reservation becomes completed for operational purposes. The Customer's confirmation or automatic closure does not certify quality by Wisdom nor does it imply a waiver of rights for defects, damages or non-compliance that may be legally claimed.
Where there is an additional difference in the Service Fee because the final price has increased, Wisdom may include in a single charge both the professional’s outstanding payout amount and the difference corresponding to the platform.
Wisdom internally distributes the amounts to the appropriate parties.
29. 48-hour period to review completion
The client generally has 48 hours from the completion proposal to:
Accept and pay.
Contact the professional.
Open a dispute.
If the client takes no action within that period, the automatic charge rules set out below may apply.
30. Automatic charge
To prevent a booking from remaining indefinitely blocked after the service has been completed, Wisdom may automatically process the final payment in certain situations.
The automatic charge may only be processed when the final amount is reasonably consistent with the booking made.
It may occur if the final amount:
Is equal to the initial estimate.
Is lower.
Is higher, but the increase does not exceed 20% compared with the corresponding estimate.
When an automatic charge occurs, Wisdom will inform the client and the booking will move to completed status if the payment is successfully processed.
31. Cases where automatic charging is not carried out
Wisdom will not perform the ordinary automatic charge where, among other cases:
The price has increased by more than 20%.
It is an hourly service for which there was not enough initial duration to establish a comparable estimate.
It is a service subject to a quote.
The payment method fails.
The transaction requires new express authorization.
The payment method used does not allow subsequent automatic charges.
In these cases, the client will receive a new notice and will normally have an additional 72 hours to accept, pay, or open a dispute.
If that new period passes without any action, Wisdom may automatically move the booking into dispute so that the case can be reviewed.
32. Apple Pay and other methods requiring authorization
Where a booking has been paid using a method that requires express authorization for each new charge, as may occur with Apple Pay, Wisdom will not perform an automatic charge without that confirmation.
The client must personally authorize the final payment.
33. Failed payments
If a final payment cannot be completed, the payment obligation does not disappear.
Wisdom may ask the client to update or replace the payment method and retry the charge where appropriate.
While a payment remains outstanding, certain account or booking functions may be restricted until the situation is resolved.
34. Payment to the professional
After a confirmed collection, and if there is no justified incident, Wisdom processes the settlement of the Provider according to the payment schedule. The Lender authorizes collection, transfer, return or reversal instructions in accordance with accepted policies and the law. Disputed funds may be held temporarily pending transfer while their destination is reviewed, in a proportionate manner and for the necessary time.
As a general rule, available payments are processed on the first Wednesday after at least seven days have passed since the client was charged.
Once the transfer has been ordered, the usual period for the professional to see the funds in their account is approximately one or two business days, although this may depend on the bank, country, payment provider, or pending verifications.
Where several payouts are available, Wisdom may group them into a single transfer.
Premium may change the release schedule for eligible amounts, but it does not remove justified holds, verifications, chargebacks or legal obligations. Wisdom does not guarantee payment to the Service Provider if the Client does not pay or a refund is due. Transfer times do not constitute a guarantee of the result of the work.
35. Cancellations
Bookings may be cancelled depending on their status and when the cancellation occurs.
The specific consequences are also explained in Wisdom’s Cancellation Policy.
The rules included here form part of the general operation of bookings.
36. What a last-minute cancellation means
Wisdom considers a cancellation to be last-minute when it is made within a period particularly close to the scheduled start of the service.
The window is calculated using approximately 33% of the time between the creation of the booking and the start time.
As a general rule, this window will have a minimum of one hour and a maximum of 24 hours.
Where a booking has no start date and time, there is no last-minute cancellation window.
37. Cancellation before the last-minute window
If a booking is still requested or accepted and is cancelled before entering the last-minute period, the client receives a full refund of the deposit, whether the cancellation is made by the client or the professional.
38. Last-minute cancellation by the client
If the client cancels within the last-minute window, they normally lose the right to a refund of the deposit.
The rule seeks to organize the reserve commitment and intermediation costs. The retention of the deposit does not mean that its amount will be delivered to the Provider as compensation nor that Wisdom guarantees compensation for a cancellation. The legal rights of withdrawal and other mandatory rules will be respected.
39. Last-minute cancellation by the professional
If the professional cancels within the last-minute window, the client receives a full refund of the deposit.
Wisdom may also record a reliability incident or “strike” on the professional account.
Accumulation of this type of incident may affect the account in accordance with the platform rules.
40. Cancellation after the scheduled start time
If the booking remains accepted and the scheduled start time has already passed, special rules apply.
If the cancellation is attributable to the client, the deposit may be lost.
If it is attributable to the professional, the client receives a full refund and the professional may receive a reliability incident.
In certain situations, once the start time has passed, the ordinary cancellation option may no longer be displayed and the specific incident or “No-show” tools must be used.
41. Client no-show
When a professional reports that the client did not show up, the booking may move to review or dispute.
If Wisdom determines that there was indeed an unjustified client no-show, the booking may be cancelled without refunding the deposit.
42. Professional no-show
If the client reports that the professional did not show up, the booking may move to dispute.
If the no-show is confirmed, the client will receive a full refund of the deposit and Wisdom may apply a reliability incident to the professional.
43. When “No-show” appears
The option to report a no-show may appear when the booking is accepted and:
There is no defined start time; or
The scheduled start time has already passed.
It may also be available when the booking already appears as started if there is an incident that needs to be reviewed.
44. Cancelling during a service
If either party attempts to cancel when the service is already in progress, the booking may automatically move into dispute.
Wisdom will review the circumstances, communications, time worked, and available information to determine the appropriate financial treatment.
There is no automatic rule providing a full refund in these situations, as it is necessary to prevent both unjustified charges and fraudulent cancellations after all or part of the service has already been received.
45. Abandoned accepted bookings
A booking should not remain indefinitely accepted after its scheduled start time has been significantly exceeded.
If neither party takes relevant action, Wisdom may send reminders to both parties approximately:
One hour after the scheduled start.
24 hours later.
72 hours later.
If seven days pass from the scheduled start date without the booking having started, a problem being reported, the booking being modified, or a dispute being opened, Wisdom may automatically cancel it.
In that case, the client receives a full refund of the deposit and the professional may receive a reliability incident for abandonment or failure to manage the booking.
46. Reporting a problem
At different stages of a booking, the client and professional may have access to the “Report a problem” option.
This tool is used to notify Wisdom of an incident without necessarily opening a financial dispute immediately.
For abuse prevention purposes, Wisdom may limit the number of reports associated with the same booking. Currently, up to five reports per booking may be accepted.
47. Disputes
A dispute allows intervention by Wisdom to be requested where there is a serious disagreement regarding the service, its performance, payment, a no-show, or any other relevant circumstance.
Before opening a dispute, Wisdom may recommend trying to resolve the issue directly through chat, provided that it is reasonable and safe to do so.
While a booking is in dispute, its normal workflow is suspended.
It cannot be started or progress normally until the dispute is cancelled or resolved.
48. Cancelling a dispute
The person who opened a dispute may withdraw it.
When this occurs, Wisdom will attempt to return the booking to the status it was in immediately beforehand, taking into account the time that has passed and any circumstances that have changed.
For example, if the scheduled service date has passed during the dispute, it may not be possible to return it to exactly the previous situation.
49. Resolving a dispute
Wisdom reviews disputes as a support and transaction management service, using the relevant information available and giving the parties a reasonable opportunity to provide explanations. It may take urgent measures proportionate to fraud or security risks and review them afterwards.
This may include the booking status, exchanged messages, recorded times, payments, documentation provided, incidents, and explanations from both parties.
Wisdom may facilitate an agreement and decide justified operational measures regarding the reservation and its payments, including temporarily maintaining a transfer, settling the amount due or processing a full or partial refund. It will report the result and allow you to request a review from support. These measures are not equivalent to a technical opinion or a definitive resolution on damages or civil liability.
Wisdom's intervention does not constitute formal regulated arbitration or mediation, nor does it make Wisdom a provider, insurer or guarantor of the work. The ordinary economic remedy managed on the platform is limited to the amounts of the reservation; This does not limit legal claims against whoever is responsible or Wisdom's own obligations. Extraordinary commercial aid requires an express concession for the case. Data strictly necessary for a specific claim may be provided, with a legal basis and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
50. Ratings and reviews
After a booking has been completed and the final payment has been successfully made, the client may rate the service.
The rating includes a score from one to five stars.
The written comment may be optional.
Each completed booking allows one rating.
If a client contracts the same service several times through different bookings, they may leave an independent rating for each one.
51. Recurring bookings
Wisdom allows recurring bookings to be created for services that are carried out periodically.
For example, they may be used for weekly lessons, recurring cleaning, training, therapy, maintenance, care, or other services that repeat according to a stable pattern.
A recurring booking does not constitute a single indefinite booking.
There is a recurring series that defines the general pattern and, from it, Wisdom progressively creates individual bookings for each session.
Each session retains its own status, payment, cancellation, dispute, and rating.
52. When a recurring booking may be used
To create a recurrence, the following must exist:
A date and time.
A defined estimated duration, normally between 15 minutes and 12 hours.
A clear weekly pattern.
A service with a fixed or hourly price.
A compatible payment method.
Recurring bookings without a specific schedule, without a duration, or for services whose price is exclusively subject to a quote are not permitted.
53. Recurrence frequency
The client may select repetition every:
1 week.
2 weeks.
3 weeks.
4 weeks.
They may also select one or more days of the week.
Generic “every X days” intervals are not used because they could shift sessions away from the selected days of the week.
54. Start of a series
The client must select a start date for the series.
This date indicates when the pattern may begin to apply.
It does not necessarily mean that there will be a session on that same day.
Wisdom will look for the first future occurrence that genuinely meets the pattern, availability, advance notice, and other rules.
Therefore:
“Series start” indicates when the pattern begins to apply.
“First session” is the first actual booking that ultimately meets all requirements.
Both dates may coincide, but they do not have to.
55. End of a recurrence
The client must indicate how the series will end.
They may choose:
An end date.
An indefinite recurrence until one of the parties ends it.
Where an end date exists, only sessions that begin before that limit will be created.
A session that began before the limit may finish afterwards.
A session whose start time exactly matches the limit will not be generated.
56. Availability of a recurrence
Selecting a time for a recurring series involves checking the full pattern, not only the first day.
Wisdom takes into account, among other factors:
Series start date.
Selected days.
Frequency.
End date.
Duration.
Professional schedule.
Buffers between bookings.
Other recurring series.
Existing individual bookings.
Where a recurrence is indefinite, Wisdom may initially use an approximately 12-week window to check conflicts with individual bookings.
This limitation is intended to keep the initial search efficient.
It does not mean that later conflicts are ignored: Wisdom progressively rechecks each new session before generating it.
57. Conflicts with other series
A recurrence cannot overlap with another series that already blocks the same professional’s calendar.
Recurring patterns are compared with each other even where the first conflict might occur later.
Where there is a recurring incompatibility, that time will not be available.
58. Conflicts with individual bookings
A recurrence may encounter existing individual bookings.
Where there are only a few exceptions within the analyzed period, Wisdom may allow the pattern to remain by treating those specific dates as exceptions.
Conflicting sessions will not be created, charged, or block the calendar as part of the series.
When the number of conflicts reaches the limit established by Wisdom, the series cannot be created at that time.
Currently:
Between 1 and 3 conflicts may be treated as exceptions.
With 4 or more conflicts, the time is no longer available for creating the series.
Wisdom will never deliberately confirm two incompatible bookings for the same professional.
59. First session of a recurrence
When creating a series, Wisdom looks for the first future session that:
Matches the selected days.
Respects the frequency.
Falls within the series period.
Is in the future.
Respects the minimum advance notice.
Falls within the professional’s availability.
Respects the duration and buffers.
Does not overlap with another incompatible series.
Does not overlap with a blocking individual booking.
If a possible session does not meet these conditions, Wisdom skips it and searches for the next one.
If no valid session exists, the recurrence cannot be created.
60. Initial request for a recurrence
Initially, only the first actual session of the series is created.
Its deposit is charged according to the normal rules and it is sent to the professional so that they can decide whether to accept it.
While this first request has not yet been accepted, the full recurring pattern does not virtually block the professional’s calendar.
61. Acceptance of a recurrence
When the professional accepts the first session, they also accept the general conditions of the recurrence.
This includes, where applicable:
Frequency.
Days.
Duration.
End of the series.
Known exceptions.
Payment method.
Price.
Financial conditions.
Applicable operating rules.
Before definitively activating the series, Wisdom checks again that the schedule remains available.
If a conflict has appeared in the meantime that prevents the recurrence from being maintained, it will not be activated until it can be configured validly.
62. Confirmation of a recurring series
When the recurrence is accepted, Wisdom may send confirmation to both parties and generate a document reflecting the general conditions accepted.
This document may include the pattern, duration, financial conditions, payment method, cancellation rules, acceptance date, and other relevant conditions.
Its purpose is to clearly record the conditions governing the recurring relationship.
63. Progressive generation of sessions
Wisdom does not create all future bookings of a recurrence from the first day.
Sessions are generated progressively.
As a general rule, each new session is created approximately 72 hours before its scheduled start time.
This prevents indefinite accumulation of future bookings and allows availability, payments, and conditions to be rechecked before each session.
64. Checks before creating each session
Before generating a new session, Wisdom verifies that the recurrence is still active and that the session can be carried out.
It also checks that there is no previous session whose scheduled end has passed but that remains improperly in progress.
If a previous session should have ended but remains open, Wisdom may temporarily pause the creation of new sessions until it is closed or resolved.
65. Conflicts that appear later
Although a series may have been correctly accepted, an individual booking may subsequently appear that affects a future session that has not yet been generated.
Before creating each new session, Wisdom rechecks the calendar.
If there is a blocking conflict, that recurring session will be skipped.
It will not be charged or created as an incompatible booking.
66. Virtual calendar blocking
An active series virtually reserves its future time slots even though the sessions have not yet been created as individual bookings.
This prevents another user from systematically occupying the same time.
Certain operational pauses maintain this block.
In contrast, agreed manual pauses or holidays may temporarily release the affected slots.
67. Payment for recurring bookings
Each recurring session has its own deposit.
The client does not pay for the entire series in advance.
As a general rule, the deposit for each session is automatically charged approximately 72 hours before it starts.
One day before that expected charge, Wisdom may notify the client, indicating the session date and estimated amount.
Once the deposit has been successfully charged, the session is confirmed according to the series rules.
68. Payment method for a recurrence
Creating a recurrence initially requires a valid card.
Apple Pay and Google Pay are not used as the initial method for a series where they do not allow the necessary future automatic charges to be properly established.
The card used remains associated with the series.
The client may subsequently replace it with another valid card.
They may not remove the only associated method without first establishing another method that allows the recurrence to continue.
69. Failure of a recurring session deposit
If the first charge attempt scheduled 72 hours before fails, Wisdom may retry it approximately 48 hours before.
The client may update the payment method, resolve bank authentication, or correct the issue.
If approximately 25 hours before the session the payment still cannot be completed, that session is cancelled.
The booking is not generated and its time slot is released.
Cancellation of a session for this reason does not automatically end the entire recurrence.
70. Repeated payment failures
If two different sessions within the same series experience payments that are not successfully completed, whether for the deposit or final payment, Wisdom may operationally pause the recurrence.
The two failures do not need to be consecutive.
Multiple technical retries of the same charge count as a single incident.
If the associated method becomes directly invalid, the pause may occur immediately without waiting for two failed sessions.
71. Resolving a payment pause
When a series is paused due to a payment issue, the client normally has 14 days to resolve it.
Wisdom may notify the client of possible termination approximately seven days beforehand and again 24 hours beforehand.
If the issue is not resolved within the applicable period, the recurrence may automatically end.
72. Other prolonged operational pauses
A recurrence may also be temporarily blocked by other operational issues, such as payout restrictions, serious incidents, or pending requirements.
Where an operational pause without an end date remains unresolved for approximately 30 days, Wisdom may terminate the recurrence.
Before doing so, it may notify the parties in advance.
This rule does not apply in the same way to a manual pause or holiday period that has a defined end date.
73. Each recurring session is independent
Although several sessions belong to the same series, each one is managed individually.
Each session may:
Be started.
Be completed.
Be paid.
Be modified.
Be cancelled.
Be disputed.
Be rated.
Completion of or a problem with one session does not automatically modify all the others unless a specific recurrence rule applies.
74. Serious disputes within a series
If a session enters a dispute that Wisdom considers sufficiently serious to affect the future relationship, the recurrence may be preventively paused.
While the case is being reviewed, no new sessions are generated.
The payment relating to the disputed session may also be temporarily withheld until the matter is resolved.
Sessions that were already confirmed will be managed according to the circumstances of the case.
75. Repeated no-shows in a recurrence
Repeated no-shows may justify the other party ending the recurring relationship.
If the same person accumulates two consecutive no-shows or three within a 90-day period in the same series, the other party may terminate it immediately without respecting the ordinary notice period.
A third consecutive no-show may result in automatic termination of the series.
The individual consequences of each session continue to apply independently.
76. Final price of a recurring session
Recurring sessions follow the same general completion rules as an individual booking.
The client normally has 48 hours to review the final amount, accept it, pay it, or open a dispute.
Automatic charging will only take place where it meets the general conditions established in this Policy.
For an hourly service, the estimate for each session is obtained using the rate in force for the series and the expected duration of that session.
77. Price changes in a recurrence
The professional may modify the general price of their service.
Where a series is already active, the new price may only affect future sessions whose deposit has not yet been charged.
Before applying the change, the client must be informed of the previous price, new price, and expected application date.
Where acceptance is required, they may:
Accept the new conditions.
End the recurrence.
While awaiting that decision, Wisdom may pause the generation of new sessions at the modified price.
Sessions that have already been charged retain their previous conditions.
78. Changes to Wisdom’s Service Fee
If Wisdom changes its Service Fee, the new amount will only apply to future sessions whose deposit has not yet been charged.
The client will be informed before the first affected charge where appropriate.
Sessions that have already generated their deposit will retain the previous conditions.
79. Premium and recurring bookings
Where either party obtains a Premium benefit applicable to the series, the corresponding financial benefits may automatically apply to future sessions whose deposit has not yet been charged.
Where the Premium benefit removes the standard Service Fee, the booking may be subject only to the minimum €1 deposit in accordance with Premium conditions.
If the benefit later disappears and neither party retains a Premium condition that allows it to continue, the return to the standard price will be treated as a financial change for future sessions.
The client will be informed and may accept the new conditions or end the recurrence.
Sessions whose deposit has already been charged are not modified retroactively.
80. Modifications to a recurrence
A change may affect:
Only one specific session.
Future sessions of the entire series.
Modifying a single session does not change the general pattern.
Global changes to day, time, duration, address, frequency, or end date must undergo another availability check and may require acceptance by the other party.
Sessions that have already been generated must be modified individually.
81. Pending global changes
An ordinary request to modify a series does not automatically stop its operation.
While the other party responds, sessions may continue to be generated according to the currently accepted conditions.
If the change is approved, it applies to future sessions whose deposit has not yet been charged.
Where a modification may affect very near-term sessions, Wisdom will expressly warn that those bookings may continue to be confirmed under the current conditions while the other party has not responded.
82. Initial date of a series
The original start date of a series cannot be modified once the recurrence has already been requested or activated.
If a completely different structure is required, it may be necessary to terminate the existing series and create a new one.
83. Ended recurrences with pending sessions
Ending a series does not delete individual bookings that have already been created.
If the recurrence has already ended but active, confirmed, or incomplete sessions still exist, they must be managed one by one.
The series can no longer be modified globally.
84. Ending a recurrence
Ending a recurrence means preventing Wisdom from creating new sessions.
It does not automatically mean cancelling bookings that already exist.
The client may end an indefinite recurrence at any time or before its scheduled end date.
The professional may end it, but must normally provide at least seven days’ notice and respect already confirmed sessions that fall within that period.
85. Exceptions to professional notice
Notice may not be necessary where there is a sufficiently important reason, such as:
Force majeure.
Safety risk.
Non-payment.
Serious dispute.
Account suspension.
Another equivalent circumstance that makes normal continuation unfeasible.
In such situations, Wisdom may allow an immediate pause or termination as appropriate.
86. What happens to sessions already created when a series ends
When a recurrence ends:
No new sessions are generated.
No new recurring charges are made for sessions not yet created.
Already confirmed bookings remain active.
If either party also wants to cancel those bookings, they must manage them individually.
Wisdom will show, where possible, how many future sessions remain active and their dates.
Ending a recurrence cannot be used to avoid the consequences of a cancellation, an outstanding payment, or any responsibility associated with a session that had already been confirmed.
87. Pausing a recurrence
A pause is different from ending a recurrence.
The client or professional may request a pause for a specific period.
The request must include a start date and an end date.
It must normally be requested at least seven days in advance and requires acceptance by the other party.
During the agreed pause:
No new sessions are generated within the period.
The corresponding time slots are released.
At the end of the period, Wisdom attempts to resume the series.
88. Expiry of a pause request
A pause request may expire if the other party does not respond.
As a general rule, it will expire when the first of the following occurs:
Seven days have passed since it was sent.
Less than 48 hours remain before the first session that would be affected.
If the request expires, it is considered not accepted and the sessions remain active.
89. Limits on manual pauses
Manual pauses may have limits to prevent a recurrence from indefinitely reserving or releasing calendar availability.
Currently, the following may apply:
A maximum of 30 consecutive days per pause.
A cumulative maximum of 60 paused days within a 12-month period.
Once these limits are exceeded, the recurrence must either continue or be ended.
If the parties want to resume it later, they may create a new series.
90. Upcoming sessions during a pause
A pause does not automatically cancel sessions that have already been generated.
It also cannot automatically apply to sessions starting within the next seven days where the notice rules do not allow it.
These bookings must be managed individually through modification or cancellation.
91. Multiple reasons for a pause
A recurrence may have more than one reason preventing it from continuing.
For example, a payment issue and a requested pause may exist simultaneously.
Resolving one reason will not automatically reactivate the series if another blocking condition still exists.
Wisdom may prioritize reasons related to security, disputes, payments, or account restrictions over voluntary pauses.
92. Reactivation after a pause
When the reason for a pause disappears, Wisdom will check that the recurrence can continue correctly.
Among other things, it may review:
Payment method.
Outstanding payments.
Financial conditions.
Premium benefits.
Availability.
Account status.
Professional requirements.
If nothing relevant has changed, the series may resume automatically.
If there is a new condition requiring consent, it will remain paused until it is resolved.
93. Professional holidays
Professionals may set holiday periods.
To do so, they must indicate a start date and an end date.
Future sessions not yet created that fall within that period will be skipped.
They are neither generated nor charged.
94. Holidays and already confirmed sessions
Before confirming holidays, Wisdom may inform the professional how many already created bookings will be affected.
These bookings may be cancelled on behalf of the professional and the client will be informed individually.
Where applicable, the deposit will be refunded.
Wisdom will not automatically move a booking to another date without the client’s acceptance.
95. Holidays with sufficient notice
Where holidays are communicated at least seven days in advance, future sessions not yet generated may be skipped without the ordinary penalty for the professional.
96. Holidays communicated late
Where the professional communicates holidays less than seven days in advance, affected sessions may be treated as cancellations attributable to the professional for the purposes of the Cancellation Policy and their reliability metrics.
This may apply even where some of those sessions had not yet been generated.
97. Extended holidays
Where holidays affect more than three sessions of the same recurrence or the professional accumulates more than 30 days of holidays within a 90-day period, the client may be given the option to immediately end the recurrence.
If they choose to keep it, the series may continue after the holidays.
98. Hiding or deleting a service with recurring bookings
A professional may hide a service so that it no longer accepts new requests.
This does not remove recurring bookings that were already active.
A service cannot be permanently deleted while it has active or paused series or linked pending sessions.
99. Problems with the professional payout method
If the professional loses their payout method, fails to complete necessary verifications, or Stripe restricts their account, Wisdom may pause the affected recurring bookings.
No new sessions will be generated until the issue is resolved.
Depending on the type of pause, the pattern may continue to virtually reserve availability for a reasonable period.
100. Account deletion with active bookings
Wisdom may prevent immediate deletion of an account where there are bookings, payments, recurring bookings, disputes, or outstanding obligations.
Active relationships must first be resolved or completed in accordance with the applicable policies.
Likewise, a client may not delete the only card associated with a recurrence without first replacing it with a valid method.
101. Account suspensions
If Wisdom suspends or blocks an account for security, fraud, serious breach, or an equivalent circumstance, it may terminate affected recurring bookings.
No new sessions will be generated.
Future bookings already charged may be refunded where appropriate.
Bookings already in progress or in dispute will be resolved individually.
102. Time zones
Wisdom automatically manages time differences between clients and professionals.
The professional’s availability is interpreted according to their local time.
The client sees times adapted to the time zone corresponding to their device or account.
Internally, Wisdom may use a universal time reference to avoid synchronization errors.
For a recurrence, the pattern remains linked to the professional’s time zone in order to maintain, as far as possible, the same selected local time.
103. Time changes
Daylight saving time changes may cause a particular time not to exist or to occur twice.
Where the selected time does not exist, Wisdom may move that session to the next valid local time and inform both parties.
If the same local time occurs twice, Wisdom will use the first chronological occurrence and may notify the affected users.
104. Booking communications
Wisdom may send notices through the application, push notifications, local notifications, or email to inform users about relevant events.
These notices may include, among others:
New request.
Acceptance or rejection.
Changes.
Cancellations.
Upcoming sessions.
Deposits.
Outstanding payments.
Automatic charges.
Refunds.
Disputes.
Incidents.
Completion.
Recurring bookings.
Payment failures.
Financial changes.
The absence of a notification due to technical problems, lack of connection, disabled permissions, or causes outside Wisdom’s control does not by itself modify the conditions of a booking that are correctly recorded in the application.
The user is responsible for checking the status of their bookings when necessary.
105. Documents and invoicing
Wisdom provides receipts for payments and refunds and issues the invoices or corrective invoices corresponding to its own charges. It does not automatically generate an invoice for the Service Provider’s work when a booking is completed.
The invoice for the Service, when due, is issued by the Provider to the Client and may be attached to the reservation. The Provider is responsible for its content and for any necessary rectifications. Classification as Private does not eliminate a legal obligation to invoice.
The reservation summary is informative and does not replace any required invoice. The rules for Wisdom's own documents, files provided by the Provider, taxes, rectifications and conservation appear in the Billing and Taxation Policy, version 0.1, without issuing invoices on behalf of others.
106. Responsibilities of clients and professionals
Both parties must act in good faith and provide accurate information.
The client is responsible for reasonably describing what they need, providing appropriate information for the provision of the service, and making the corresponding payments.
The Service Provider is responsible for the accuracy of their offer and declared status, availability, price and performance of the Service, the resources and personnel used, qualifications, licenses, insurance, tax, employment and sector compliance, invoicing and damage legally attributable to them. They must keep their information up to date and handle the claims for which they are responsible.
Wisdom’s tools facilitate the relationship between the parties, but do not replace each party’s responsibility for their own actions.
107. Role of Wisdom
Wisdom provides technological infrastructure to connect clients and professionals and facilitate bookings, payments, communications, documentation, ratings, and support.
Wisdom is not the one who offers or lends the contracted work, nor does it acquire or resell it. The management of the reservation does not prove that the Provider has been fiscally audited or that the Service is guaranteed by Wisdom.
The provision of the service is agreed between the client and the professional.
Wisdom may apply its policies, process payments and refunds, manage incidents and facilitate agreements as an intermediary. This does not mean that it assumes the performance, quality, safety or legal compliance of the Service or acts exclusively attributable to its users, to the extent permitted by law. It retains its responsibilities for its own actions, commitments and obligations.
The full rules regarding liability, intermediation, and the obligations of the parties are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
108. Fraud and abuse prevention
Wisdom may prevent, cancel, review, withhold, or restrict transactions where there are reasonable indications of:
Fraud.
Manipulation of the booking system.
Refund abuse.
Fraudulent no-shows.
Misuse of payment methods.
Attempts to deliberately avoid applicable fees.
Use of fake accounts.
Security breaches.
Any other conduct contrary to Wisdom’s policies.
The measures taken will depend on the seriousness of the situation.
109. Changes to this Policy
Wisdom may update this Booking Policy to adapt it to changes in the platform, new functionalities, payment systems, or legal requirements.
The date of the latest update will appear at the beginning of the document.
Where a change is particularly relevant to existing bookings or future recurring relationships, Wisdom may inform affected users through the application, email, or other appropriate means.
Financial or contractual conditions that have already been established for a booking will not be modified retroactively unless there is agreement between the parties, a legal obligation, or an express provision in the applicable policies.
110. Contact and support
If you have questions about a booking, payment, cancellation, or incident, you may use the help and support tools available within Wisdom.
Where there is a problem with another party, we recommend keeping communications within Wisdom so that sufficient traceability exists if the case subsequently needs to be reviewed.
